About us
Saltwinds Coffee Company started as a dream to make delicious coffees capturing our rich Maritime History.
Our Story
When coffee first came to Canada it came aboart wooden sailing ships, with the moist ocean air infusing the beans.
Many of our coffees would have journeyed here from the Caribbean, packed in the hold with delicious cargo like tropical fruit. This was the inspiration for our 'Treasures from the hold' collection of flavored coffees.
Location
From a little roast shed in Douglas, NB Saltwinds was formed. Our first coffee was our signature Ocean Air coffee, and it has only gone from there! We look forward to delivering many more delicious coffee experiences to you.
