Summer Squall - Espresso - Medium Roast

Summer Squall Espresso is my go-to espresso. I have tried a few others in the past, but this is by far my favorite. It is smooth with no bitter taste. The grind is perfect for my machine. I have been buying different coffees from Saltwinds for many years. Love their products.

This is the best coffee I've ever had. Darn you Saltwinds, you've ruined other coffee for me.

The more I drink Summer Squall, the more convinced it has become a #1 choice for me. Such a wonderful taste with a smooth sensation.

A perfect espresso for my morning latte. Smooth and flavourful. The other coffees I have tried from Saltwinds have been similarly delicious and the customer experience is excellent. I ordered on Saturday and my same province delivery was Tuesday. No caffeine withdrawal here!!!

It’s hard to find a bean that tastes great and isn’t oily. Works great in my automatic machine. This is my third purchase. I’ll keep coming back for this one.

I got to try Saltwinds Summer Squall Espresso and made it in my Moka pot. It is also great for espresso machines since the beans stay dry and non-oily, it keeps machines clean and running great. First, I used a blender to grind it and it grinds so smoothly. I decided to make frothy foam to make a cappuccino and it was so delicious and flavourful!!! The coffee tastes nice and bold. It is so smooth, less bitter and I love the flavours of rich chocolate, citrus and a hint of raspberry that comes through.

I was genuinely impressed with the rich, smooth taste of Saltwinds Coffee. The flavour has a light, clean finish that feels elevated thanks to their unique ocean air process. We enjoyed it outdoors on a quiet morning — it made our moment even more special.
It brewed beautifully in our espresso maker, and the aroma alone was enough to start the day right. Highly recommend for anyone who values a quality cup with a story behind it.

Although I personally didn't taste the sea salt infusion, this was definitely citrusy! Very bright and light and perfect for summer. I tried as espresso, latte, americano, drip, and cold brew to really get a full idea of taste and all of them were lovely.

I love that Saltwinds coffee company infuses their products with ocean air. I think that is very unique. The flavouring was delicious, rich and bold. It provided a desirable experience. It is great both straight and as a latte. It is medium roast. The beans were easy to grind. The aroma of this product was very captivating and crave worthy. You can tell it's premium quality and I love that it is made in Canada at a small roast house!

I love every drop of this coffee. I cant wait to try their other flavours. For a medium roast, its strong for me but I loved it! We can taste the chocolatey base lf the coffee. Since I received this in the mail, the aroma makes you want to open and prepare coffee right away. 10/10 for me

This coffee tastes good with or without dairy. It is smooth and delicious and grinds nicely for those who prefer to purchase whole bean. I highly recommend giving it a try.

Meant to be a medium roast espresso blend, but I found it to be a tad darker than my usual medium roasts. If you prefer nutty and chocolate notes, this is the coffee bean for you! There is an ever-so-slight acidity to it though, which is likened to citrus. I really liked the non-oily aspect, so my grinder was left clean from residue. The coffee itself was quite bold and rich without compromising the flavour.

This code has a very rich taste and I enjoyed it so much, I can say it’s one of the beast code brands I have tried as someone who isn’t a huge coffee fan I am hooked on this brand.

I think that the Summer Squall espresso is the perfect blend for just about everyone! The “fine grind” was perfect for my machine, and the quality of the grinds was perfect! Not oily and stayed dry in the package.
I could taste the chocolate notes but didn’t really taste any raspberry that’s in the description.
I tried it as a maple latte, and then just as a regular coffee with cream. So delicious!
